What happens when it goes wrong?

Although we hate to worry clients, it is always best to be forewarned and as so many people do try to cut corners it might be worth being aware of some of the implications:

  • At worst it becomes impossible to fulfill the promotion
  • It becomes a major drain on time and resources
  • Significant costs can be incurred trying to rectify the situation
  • May require legal intervention and associated legal costs
  • Could attract investigation by industry bodies including the ASA and Trading Standards
  • Compensation claims may be made resulting in penalties and fines
  • Disgruntled and angry customers
  • Negative and costly PR
