Corporate Social Responsibility

At Enable, corporate social responsibility (CSR) and namely our ability as a company to take into account the effects of business practices on local communities and the environment, is taken seriously.

At present, Enable are supporting the Children's Hospice South West charity. Children's Hospice South West has been providing care and respite to families from across the South West of England for over 13 years firstly at Little Bridge House, North Devon, and more recently at Charlton Farm, North Somerset. Plans are now in place to extend this world class service into Cornwall. For more information please visit www.chsw.org.uk.

Charlton Farm in north Somerset was opened in April 2007 in response to the growing need to provide a retreat to more than 1000 families in the South West who have a life limited child. They are currently fundraising to raise money to build a sunken garden 'Hobbiton' which will house a sensory room and be a retreat for all the families who attend the hospice. This will be finished by April 2009.

Enable have already donated some toys used in past promotions to the hospice and intend to assist with the building of the garden, both in manpower and with financial aid.
